Mid Developer - Laravel

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications: Create robust, scalable, and efficient applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
• Backend development: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Work with MySQL or other relational databases, write database queries, and design efficient schemas.
• API Development: Develop RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services or mobile applications.
• Bug fixing and troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs in existing systems and applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate front-end components with the back-end.
• Version control: Use Git for version control and collaborate with team members on repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Security: Ensure applications are secure and handle user data appropriately (e.g., input validation, encryption, etc.).
• Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Testing: Write unit tests, perform debugging, and conduct integration tests to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation for codebases and application features.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Proven experience in Laravel development.
• Solid experience in PHP, MySQL, and MVC architecture.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Good understanding of database design and management (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices (XSS, SQL Injection, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with Alternating Saturdays.
